Last week I completed my biggest design project to date; The Morningside Project.  Today I am super excited today to share the before and after photos.

Before the kitchen was dark and dated so I wanted lighter floors laid, had the cabinets painted, completely reworked the stove area, added new countertops and created a built in seating area so that the center island could function purely as  prep space.  I had all the walls and doors get fresh coat of paint and replaced the hardware on the cabinets as well as all of the doors throughout the house.

The before photos of their dining room.

I wanted to square off all of the arches in this house to give it a more modern feel as well as remove some of the molding from the ceiling.

Below is the living room before.

  1. Hi Brandi, I love your art and have actually bid on and won a few pieces at various silent auctions. My garraty road 1930s split level is in need of some perspective—I’ve tried to modernize without losing charm but I just done have the vision that someone like you has has and I am just stuck in a rut of what project I should tackle….

Thanks and look forward to hearing from you!!
